Do not skip your breakfast!
Probably you've heard many times that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Eating breakfast provides you with the energy you need to get through your day and leads to increased concentration. When you eat a satisfying breakfast, you’re also less likely to overeat throughout the day.
Breakfast rich in protein, however, increases feelings of fullness and satiety, as well as reduces brain activity that controls food cravings.
This satisfying banana-peanut butter toast will fuel your body with fiber, protein, and healthy fats and will make you feel full until lunchtime.
Whole grains bread is rich in the B vitamins thiamin, riboflavin, and niacin, all of which are involved with metabolism.Bananas contain a fair amount of fiber, as well as several antioxidants such as potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin C, magnesium, copper, and manganese. And finally peanut butter is a great source of poly- and monounsaturated fats which lower your risk of developing heart disease by reducing the amount of harmful cholesterol in your bloodstream, and also prevent type 2 diabetes.
So it sounds like perfect combo isn't it? I bet you will fall in love with this toast. It's so easy and quick to make. Just spread some peanut butter on a whole grain bread, add sliced bananas and sprinkle some hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds or shredded coconut for that extra crunchiness and enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee.
